Overview and Characteristics
The handheld multi-channel automatic cap opener offers a lighter, more convenient way to batch open screw-cap tubes. The opener’s bit follows an SBS arrangement and is compatible with cryovials and cryoboxes that have a center-to-center hole spacing of 9 mm. It can automatically rotate and open or close up to six or eight tube caps in a single row at once. After opening the caps, the device maintains a secure grip on the caps. In addition to gripping and rotating to close the caps, the device can also actively and forcefully eject the caps back onto the cap holder in one motion. By holding the opener in one hand, you can easily perform cap opening, closing, and forceful ejection—making it simple and quick to learn, and perfectly suited for routine sample handling in laboratories.
★ Prevent laboratory personnel from coming into contact with samples or reagents when handling tube caps, thereby reducing safety risks posed by biochemical reagents and biological samples.
★ The closing torque is equipped with a torque-limiting function to prevent excessive torque from damaging the sealing ring.
★ Equipped with an automatic shut-off function for over-length lid opening—when the lid is left open for more than 5 seconds, the device will automatically stop to prevent continuous lid opening from damaging the tube.
